WELCOME TO ORNÄSRÄNNET
The historical long-distance skating race.

The race will take place on February 8th 2009.

START
The start takes place on lake Runn at Storsund 11 kilometres north east of Borlänge.
The first start takes place at 11:00 AM.
To get to the start by car, take road 50 between Borlänge and Falun and follow the signs.
There is a car park placed adjoining to the start.

CLASSES
Distance, approx. 42 km
Leisure men /women.

Distance, approx. 21 km
Leisure men /women.

Distance, approx.10 km
Leisure men /women.

Distance, approx. 5 km
Leisure only for boys and girls younger than 15 years.

Ice prods are compulsory for everyone.

ENTRY
Use “plusgiro” 22 74 00-9, Ornäs Sports Club.
The entry will be registered as soon as we have the payment.
Send an e-mail to info@ornasrannet.com with your name, year of birth, home address, e-mail address and leisure class.
You can find a list of the participants under “Anmälda” to the right.

INSURANCE
All participants will be insured through the Swedish Skate Association.

TIMING
Electrical timing will be used for everyone. The results will be displayed in the competition area after the finish and later on the home page.

REFRESHMENTS
There are hot and cold drinks, medical service, toilets and equipment for easier repairs at the refreshment stops.

PRIZES
Each participant will receive a specially designed medal. Honorary prizes to the premiers of the competition classes. In the non-competitive classes we draw lots for prizes.

BREAKFAST
Breakfast will be served at the reception from 07:30 AM on the day of the competition.
